Bellefonte, PA — As Election Day approaches, Centre County Republican Chairwoman Michelle Schellberg is encouraging voters to make their voices heard in this important off-year election.
“This election is about accountability,” said Schellberg. “Pennsylvanians deserve judges who respect the rule of law, uphold constitutional freedoms, and serve the people — not politics. When judges overstep their bounds, the people have the power to say ‘No more.’ That’s why we’re urging Centre County voters to vote NO on all judicial retention questions on the ballot.”
Schellberg emphasized that judicial retention votes often fly under the radar, but they carry lasting impact on Pennsylvania’s courts. “Many voters don’t realize that these judges have been on the bench for a decade or more. Voting NO is the only opportunity to restore balance and integrity to our courts.”
Voters can view the Centre County Republican Committee’s 2025 Voter Guide, which includes recommended candidates and key ballot information online. The site also provides polling place details, drop box locations, and Election Day resources for all Centre County voters.
“Local elections matter. Every vote counts — especially in a year like this,” Schellberg added. “Turn out, bring a friend, and vote to defend Pennsylvania’s future.”
